An open-air market that takes up nearly half of the southern quarter of Havens walls. The High Market is where traders from far away lands, and locals as well, come to trade coin and wares in exchange for fine furs, herbs, and rare woods gathered from the Countryside with the locals. A unique feature of the High Market is its inclusion of a public bathhouse and a privy area on the eastern side. While fun to browse it is rarely of interest to adventuring folk.

Farmers sell produce, hunters hawk smoked meats, villagers sell crafts, and sometimes a trader from distant locations sells implements or costly goods.

"On any given day, there is a 50% chance that items from the adventuring gear list in the Player’s Handbook are available for sale here." Adventurers will almost never find armor, weapons, implements, or magic items in the market square, however.
